Ep. 2: Kuro forms a life-saving pact with Keita after he is fatally wounded by Seiji

Following a failed capture attempt at a ramen stop, the Tribal End Seiji arrives to take Kuro alive. During the ensuing battle, Seiji pierces Keita’s heart with mysterious Exceed Energy, causing his death. To save Keita from fatal wounds, Kuro brings him to safety and initiates a Contract by exchanging their hearts. This pact successfully stabilizes Keita. Empowered by the new bond, Kuro defeats Seiji by electrocuting him. The episode details the confrontation that leads to Keita’s near-death experience and the subsequent establishment of the life-saving agreement between him and Kuro, resolving the immediate threat posed by the Tribal End.
