Ep. 24: Seirin fights back as Kagami enters the Zone to close the gap against Yosen.

Yosen maintains its lead in the fourth quarter with Kiyoshi sidelined, forcing Seirin to struggle offensively. Seirin attempts a 2–3 man-to-man defense, but Himuro and Murasakibara easily bypass it. Kagami fails to re-enter the Zone, as Aomine notes the difficulty of doing so twice. Kaijo spectators arrive, and Kise taunts Kagami, prompting him to realize his reliance on external factors. Kagami then fully commits to the game, successfully entering the Zone. He scores points with help from Kuroko and blocks both Himuro’s Mirage Shot and Murasakibara’s Thor Hammer, shocking Yosen. Aomine explains Murasakibara’s lack of love for basketball prevents him from entering the Zone. The score stands at 64–60, with Seirin trailing by four. Murasakibara refuses to play during timeout but is convinced by Himuro. With three minutes left, both teams intensify their efforts, and Kiyoshi plans to return within the final two minutes.
