Yosen leads 72–68 with one minute remaining as Kiyoshi returns to activate the Triangle-And-Two defense. Seirin cuts the deficit to one point via Hyuga’s three-pointer. Yosen attempts a final dunk, but Kiyoshi and Kagami block Murasakibara. Kagami then scores with Meteor Jam to take a 73–72 lead with four seconds left. Himuro inbounds to Murasakibara, who is exhausted from Kiyoshi’s defensive pressure. As Murasakibara attempts a final shot, Kuroko returns to block it, securing the victory for Seirin. The team advances to the Winter Cup semifinals to face the winner of the Kaijo match. Kagami retrieves a ring symbolizing his bond with Himuro, realizing they can remain brothers and rivals.
