Gyubid becomes suspicious of Ogata buying numerous rice bowls and teams up with Chiyoko to investigate. They observe him negotiating with a banshi from the demon world, assuming he is hiring a soldier. The pair intervene to confront him directly. However, Touka clarifies the situation by revealing that the banshi is actually a chef. Ogata had requested this demon to teach him the specific techniques required to prepare a mont blanc dessert, dispelling the earlier fears of a military arrangement.
