The Queen tests Ciel's loyalty during a banquet where a banker is murdered and Sebastian dies.
Jan 28, 2015Following the death of children kidnapped by Noah's Arc Circus, the Queen tasks Ciel with proving his loyalty. The Double Grey butlers arrive at Phantomhive Manor to host a banquet for German banker Lord Georg von Siemens. After Siemens is found dead, Ciel becomes the primary suspect due to lacking an alibi. He is placed under the supervision of guest Arthur Conan Doyle. That night, Sebastian is killed, and he formally transfers his duties to the staff before bidding Ciel farewell. His body is discovered the next morning. Ciel accepts Sebastian's death after the demon refuses to revive himself. When another guest is found dead, the group reevaluates their alibis. It is revealed that Sebastian left a letter for Mey-Rin to send via owl. The mysterious reverend Jeremy Rathborne then makes a sudden appearance.

Sebastian orchestrates a complex scheme to frame Woodley while fulfilling the Queen's secret orders against Siemens.
Feb 25, 2015After a letter from Sebastian prompts Reverend Jeremy Rathborne to investigate, the group discovers a snake attack was orchestrated by Noah's Arc Circus member Snake seeking revenge. Rathborne initially believes Siemens faked his death but was killed by Woodley to frame Ciel and protect his diamond business. Arthur Conan Doyle identifies inconsistencies in this theory, revealing that Rathborne is actually Sebastian. He explains that Earl Grey, the Queen's butler, killed Siemens to destabilize Germany and frame Ciel. Sebastian manipulated these events to satisfy the Queen, clear the Phantomhive name, and imprison Woodley. This case inspires Doyle to pursue his career. The episode concludes with Ciel inviting Snake to reside at the manor, while Sebastian reaffirms his loyalty as the head butler until his lie becomes truth.
