Nanami remains at Kenji’s bedside, skipping school in hopes he will wake, but he stays comatose. As the season passes, others move on. When the spring term begins, Nanami returns to school, repeating her second year, and continues daily visits to Kenji. The summer break eventually arrives, bringing relief as Kenji finally emerges from his coma.
