Ep. 1: D'Eon investigates Lia's murder and Bernis's abduction by French secret police

D'Eon de Beaumont learns of his sister Lia de Beaumont's murder and joins the French secret police to investigate young women's disappearances. He shares a secret document with his friend Bernis, leading to the police members' deaths and Bernis's abduction. D'Eon is demanded to surrender the document for Bernis's life. Upon reaching the exchange location, he finds Bernis has been turned into a zombie-like creature.
