Ep. 1: Shiroe and allies face Briar Weasel ambush after being trapped in Elder Tales.

Shiroe, Naotsugu, and Akatsuki are ambushed by Briar Weasel monsters in the Archive Tower Forests. Earlier, a game update trapped Shiroe in the District of Akihabara within Elder Tales, preventing logout. He contacts Naotsugu and Akatsuki, then meets Marielle of the Crescent Moon Alliance. They learn teleportation gates across Japanese districts are offline and guild recruitment is active following the Novasphere Pioneers update. The trio discusses in-game death consequences before the ambush. They defeat the weasels by physically moving their avatars instead of using preset commands. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure observes Serara fleeing two players while calling Marielle in panic.
