Ep. 21: Lupin travels to Japan to rescue Fujiko from a staged kidnapping involving a stolen marionette.

While visiting Italy, Lupin receives a call from a kidnapper claiming to have abducted Fujiko. The caller demands that Lupin steal a marionette formerly owned by Gennai Hiraga, which is currently housed in a Tokyo mansion. Lupin rushes to Japan, successfully retrieves the artifact, and delivers it to the location where Fujiko is supposedly being held. Upon arrival, he discovers that the kidnapping was a fabrication. Standing beside Fujiko is the renowned detective Akechi Holmes Kousuke, known for solving numerous complex cases. Lupin is immediately arrested by the detective, revealing the entire event was a trap set to capture him.
