Ep. 1: Hayate finds Freyja in Shahal City before Vars outbreak forces them to fight together

In Shahal City on the planet Al Shahal, Hayate Immelman discovers stowaway Freyja Wion at the shipping docks. Freyja fled an arranged marriage to audition for the idol group Walküre on the planet Ragna, but Hayate reveals she is on the wrong world. A sudden Vars outbreak causes Zentradi soldiers to go rogue and attack the city. Walküre and Delta Squadron attempt to contain the threat, but are soon engaged in a fierce dogfight with the Aerial Knights. During the battle, Freyja sings with Walküre to help suppress the Vars. Meanwhile, Hayate commandeers an abandoned Valkyrie to protect Freyja amidst the chaos.
