The Macross Elysion enters Al Shahal's orbit while the Sigur Valens appears before the N.U.N.S. defense fleet in Ragna, having damaged its sound wave system. Aerial Knights defend their flagship until repairs are complete. Near Barrett City, N.U.N.S. detonates a reactive bomb in Protoculture ruins, which merges with the surviving Windermerean flagship to amplify Heinz's song. This activates the Var Syndrome, bringing Ragna under its control. Chaos ensues as citizens evacuate, Delta Squadron fights the Aerial Knights, and Freyja reveals her true potential amidst the escalating conflict.
