While Caldina and Lafarga subdue Ascot, Presea reveals her true identity as Sierra to Clef and Hikaru to revive a sword. Clef warns of the lethal risks, but Sierra proceeds, confessing her past love for Clef to Mokona. Meanwhile, Ferio vows to save Fuu, and Primera spots Nova while searching for Lantis. Sierra guides Hikaru through a mental trial involving their past in Cephiro. Nova interrupts, arguing that their arrival caused suffering and blaming Emeraude for summoning Hikaru. She urges Hikaru to abandon Cephiro and embraces her, attempting to corrupt her resolve. Sierra pleads for Hikaru to resist as darkness threatens to consume her during the dangerous revival process.
