While Headmaster Carwes is away, Master Foltess leads the Magician's Guild and delivers a tedious speech to students. Afterward, Louie and Ila visit a bar to meet Louie's team. They are approached by a young girl named Catherine, who holds a piggy bank and asks them to locate a Senian Flower for her sick grandmother. This specific bloom is rare and not native to Ohfun. Louie discovers that the Guild possesses one in its greenhouse. He asks Master Foltess for permission to borrow the plant, but the master refuses the request. Undeterred by this rejection, Louie decides to proceed with his plan anyway, relying on his past experience to overcome obstacles.
