Managers inform Yatsumura that the King, described as the world's most miserable sorceress, intends to trigger the Tempest, a worldwide storm designed to eliminate evil by destroying most of humanity. Aya evacuates Rina, Sarina, and Kosame, while Yatsumura, reborn as a manager candidate, assaults Aya with immense power. Rina and Kosame heal Sarina, and Mikari saves Sayuki, who destroys their attacker. Aya transports herself and Yatsumura to the beach, risking her life to restore their friendship memories. Rejecting their miserable status, they defeat Nana, ensuring all magical girls survive. In a separate event, Misumi sodomizes Kaname in his lair. The managers note that Aya and Yatsumura have undermined the King's will by rejecting the idea that past misfortunes dictate current happiness. Aya and Yatsumura vow to protect their joy, while the enraged King curses them with further misfortune.
