Young Arika Yumemiya travels to the Kingdom of Windbloom to locate her mother and pursue her goal of becoming an Otome. During her stay, she meets Garderobe student Nina, Nina's foster father Sergay, and the rebellious princess Mashiro. When a monster called a Slave attacks the group, Meister Otome Shizuru Viola swiftly defeats the creature. This display of skill impresses Arika and strengthens her resolve to become an Otome herself.
