Arika faces expulsion because her school uniform is found in a shop, yet she lacks funds to pay for it. To prove she did not sell the item, she asks her new friends to help find the real thief. Evidence initially suggests Mashiro's cat, Mikoto, is responsible. However, another student actually stole the uniform to sabotage Arika. At the same time, a mysterious person who knew Arika's mother begins sending her money and letters. This secret benefactor's identity remains unknown to Arika, adding a layer of mystery to her already difficult situation at the academy.
