Ep. 12: Takeru battles Kikyo while Haruko escapes Kamigari captivity with Venus's aid.
Haruko is kidnapped by Otohime within the Kamigari secret base, leading Takeru to learn from Kikyo Yamato that she is held on the mountains. Takeru duels Kikyo, recalling lessons from his late mother Atsuma Ooyama about true strength, which awakens the Yamata no Orochi spirit. Otohime informs her brother Gouken Yamato that the Kamigari intend to take over Maken-ki after Takeru destroys Tenbi Academy. Inaho, Kodama, Kengo, Azuki, Uruchi, Kimi, and Chacha prepare to fight as Takeru arrives at the schoolyard. Haruko uses the Kamigari's manipulation of innocent powers to her advantage. Venus arrives to rescue Haruko and confront the Kamigari. Using Lilou and Aililou's Jingu, Time/Space Keep, Haruko teleports to the schoolyard and employs Murakumo to free Takeru from the Orochi spirit. Furan, Yuka, and other Maken-ki members pursue Kikyo to prevent her from taking Takeru away. The group eventually returns to their regular duties and daily lives.
