Shouma recovers in a hospital with minor injuries while concealing his incident with Ringo from his family. Ringo shares the event details in her diary, prompting Natsume to disguise as a nurse and abduct Shouma. She demands the missing diary portion from Kanba and Ringo in exchange for his safety. Kanba chooses to leave the diary with Ringo and ventures out to rescue Shouma, while Ringo is instructed to hand over the book herself. Kanba falls into a trap and is kissed by Natsume before she escapes. However, she is immediately confronted by an individual wearing a penguin hat, whom Natsume recognizes as Mario.
