The Takakura siblings enjoy Takoyaki and celebrate Himari’s impending hospital release, but the magic hat possesses Himari again to demand the retrieval of the Penguin-Drum. Meanwhile, Yuri and Tabuki recall their childhood with Momoka, though Yuri cannot forgive the siblings for their parents' crime. The next day, Himari leaves with Ringo for shopping, causing despair for Kanba and Shouma who know she needs medicine before sunset. While the brothers search, Ringo receives a call from Yuri. Yuri waits for Himari but is intercepted by Masako, leading to a fight over the diary halves. Simultaneously, Tabuki approaches Himari and Ringo, inviting them to a construction site where he claims he will finally punish the Takakura family.
