Masako recalls her grandfather expelling her father for weakness and rejoices when he dies from eating ill-prepared fugu. She takes over the family corporation but mourns her father's absence. Her grandfather's spirit possesses Mario, forcing Masako to consume the same poison to protect her brother, but Sanetoshi intervenes to save her. Later, Masako observes Kanba meeting the men who abducted her father. Sanetoshi invites her to join his initiative to restore global order, but she firmly declines his proposal.
