Space Medafighter X visits Koji to explain methods for competing against Ikki and Metabee’s Rare Medal, despite Koji’s inability to invoke the Medaforce. Meanwhile, Ikki, currently ranked number four, urgently searches for a new Robattle opponent to reclaim a top three position. Squidguts and the Samurai-Type Medabot Gobanko announce their desire for a formidable match and await Ikki and Metabee on a pedestrian bridge. During the ensuing battle, Metabee successfully summons the Medaforce once again to defeat Squidguts. This narrative corresponds to Episode 31 in the Nelvana English dubbed version.
