Ep. 29: Ikki and Erika miss the snowstorm closure and find the school empty before meeting Tom and Snowbro.

A heavy snowstorm forces the school to close, but Ikki and Erika are busy having a snowball fight with the Screws and miss the announcement. Believing classes are still in session, they, along with the Screws, arrive at the empty campus and are shocked by the lack of students. After deciding to leave, they encounter Tom and Snowbro, who are identified as the number one team in Canada. During the encounter, Metabee is frozen by Snowbro’s special attack but quickly thaws out and resumes fighting. This narrative corresponds to episode 30 in the Nelvana English dubbed version of the series.
