Ikki and Erika assign themselves a school report on Medabots and Medafighters. During a walk, Metabee discovers a Mermaid Medal and inserts it into Brass, revealing that the owner, Oceana, forgot it when her Medafighter, Hannah, relocated. Metabee resolves to reunite Oceana with Hannah, but they discover Oceana’s body was also lost during the move. Erika tracks down the individual who found the body, but he refuses to return it. Consequently, Metabee must engage in a Ro-Battle against Kuraba, a Crab type Medabot, to retrieve Oceana’s body. This narrative corresponds to Episode 32 in the Nelvana English dubbed version.
