Mineru purchases a kotatsu, prompting teasing and nostalgia among the girls. Koushi asks to use it with Sutea for homework, disappointing Atena, though Sutea agrees if she does not overheat. While Atena shops for knitting supplies, Koushi falls asleep under the kotatsu with his foot in Sutea's panties, causing accidental stimulation witnessed by Atena. Sutea punishes Koushi and bans him indefinitely. During spring cleaning, Serene’s door sticks, causing her to fall from her window onto Koushi. He discovers outfits in Frey's room that forced him to cosplay and nearly faces punishment when he finds underwear. Atena bribes entry into Serene's room with food, discovering the jammed door resulted from collapsed possessions intended as New Year's gifts. Mineru, Atena, and Serene get drunk on super strength sake and pass out on Koushi. Atena drunkenly admits jealousy of Sutea before sleeping. Sutea finds the pile and furiously punishes Koushi again.
