Mineru, manager of the Seikan Women's University Goddess dormitory, offers Koushi a position as Dorm Mother. Atena, who fears men, initially refuses his presence and moves out. Koushi departs to prevent her homelessness, but Atena later regrets her selfishness and retrieves him, fainting after an accidental physical contact. Koushi reprimands their behavior, earning Mineru’s approval for his immediate assumption of responsibility.

Koushi eventually recovers and goes shopping for New Year's dinner ingredients while wearing the gloves Atena knitted for him.
