Ep. 1008: Investigation into a series of knife murders linked to a past fraud suspect named Komoto

A man is found stabbed to death, followed by the murder of his friend Natsukawa in the same manner. Komoto, who lost money to a fraudulent investment scheme ten years ago, becomes a suspect due to his relationship with the victims. Although Komoto appears before Akiba and subsequently falls off a cliff, suggesting the killings have stopped, Akiba is discovered murdered the following day in an identical fashion. This development raises the question of whether Komoto survived the fall and continues his campaign of revenge against those involved in the past financial deception.
