Investigators locate Shigefumi’s manor and his blood-covered girlfriend, who is detained. Conan finds Ayumi’s lost 4-leaf clover and tranquilizes Yamamura, an act observed by Rumi that exposes Maika as the murderer. Maika killed Shigefumi, moved his body to a tree, and orchestrated a frame-up against his girlfriend. She forced occupants to block windows with cardboard boxes and shifted the car into neutral beside the corpse. Maika lost an earring and used Ayumi as a witness to create an illusion of the body appearing suddenly. Blood traces in Maika’s driver seat confirm her guilt. Maika confesses that Shigefumi was a marriage fraud con artist. Ayumi offers her clover to Rumi, who lets it blow away, a detail Conan notices.
