Yusaku Kudo announces a live broadcast to solve three recent locked-room murders, but falls ill on the day of the show. Yukiko Kudo disguises herself as him to solve the case with Conan's help. The victims are Atsumi Morita, found dead in her bathroom twenty days ago; Taiji Kiryu, strangled at his apartment entrance ten days later; and Koretsugu Kanzawa, stabbed in a Haido house kitchen the next day. All scenes were ransacked, suggesting internal locking. Yukiko begins presenting details, but reveals she also suffers from food poisoning. Suddenly, Kaitou Kid, disguised as Yusaku, appears to repay a past favor. Conan and Kid must resolve the situation within ten minutes before the TV staff arrives at the Kudo household.
