Ep. 1100: Kogoro investigates the mysterious origin of twenty million yen found by a widow.

Eriko Nemoto hires Kogoro to investigate her late husband Yutaka’s sudden wealth. Yutaka died in a traffic accident three months ago, but Eriko discovered twenty million yen in his belongings. She describes him as a tragic genius who failed in baseball, racing, and competitive eating before marrying her nine years ago. Suspecting illegal activities, she requests an inquiry into the money’s source. Kogoro uses a search engine to find cases involving "robbery," "three months ago," and "twenty million yen." He identifies three matching incidents and becomes convinced Yutaka is the culprit. Kogoro then visits the locations of these three crimes to gather evidence and determine if the deceased man was responsible for the thefts before his death.
