Rachel manipulates her parents into visiting the beach, where Richard meets Kimberly Sanchez, Haley Martin, Kevin, Hatcher, and Matthew. The group invites the Moore family and Conan to lunch with a college scuba club. Kimberly swims alone and appears to drown. Matthew tries to save her but is repelled by Kevin, who cannot swim. Kimberly is hospitalized after claiming a snake bit her hand. Rachel identifies the creature as an erabu sea snake but adds it had wings, confusing everyone. Eva confronts Rachel, angry that someone attempted to kill Kimberly, while Richard remains unaware that Rachel is not wearing her wedding ring.
