Staying at the Professor’s residence, Conan remembers his final encounter with the Black Organization and deduces that another member attended the hotel party. He identifies Chris Vineyard as the primary suspect. Heiji arrives in Tokyo to assist, suspecting Jodie-sensei of being an Organization agent. Despite Conan’s hesitation, they visit her apartment, where they learn her full name is Jodie Saintemillion. As Jodie agrees to accompany them outside, a man living on the floor above falls to his death from over thirty stories away. Police initially rule the incident a suicide, but Conan and Heiji suspect foul play and begin their own investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall.
