Ran catches a cold and visits a doctor, where a patient mentions his apartment is haunted by a girl burned to death four years ago. Conan and Mouri decide to investigate the location. Upon arrival, they meet three other residents. Ran, fearing ghosts, tells her father they should leave at 7 pm. At 10:20 pm, Ran wakes to see a ghost in the television telling her to leave. Mouri and Conan wake from her screaming. Mouri dismisses it as a dream and goes to the toilet. Afterward, the water turns red. Mouri backs away and screams upon seeing a ghostly image.
