Billionaire Yotsui Reika’s birthday party is interrupted when car tires are slashed, trapping guests Ichieda Takashi, Gojo Osamu, Mifune Takuya, Rokuda Masashi, Nikaido Yuji, and maid Nanao Yone at the mansion. After Reika disappears, Yuji is found dead in a fountain, with suspicion falling on her. Ran drinks tea and falls asleep, prompting Conan to investigate a past storm incident involving Reika, Yuji, and Yone’s granddaughter Nanao Yaeko. A power outage leads to a near-drowning of Ran, who appears drugged. Conan deduces the killer is among the guests. Takashi spills coffee on Conan and Kogoro, sending them to the bathroom where they discover Reika drowned in the bathtub.
