Ep. 408: Conan and Heiji solve the mirror hallway illusion and expose Dogo as the killer.
Aired on August 1, 2005

408
Conan and Heiji demonstrate how the killer vanished by recreating a trick involving mirrors on doors, identical rooms, and a projector screen within a long hallway. They reveal that Tenko’s body remained hidden there the entire time. Dogo is identified as the murderer due to bloodstains on his underwear. He confesses that Tenko stole his mentor’s trick, "Return of the Devil," for her own performance, "Return of the Witch." Her arrogance and disrespect motivated Dogo to kill her. Mari was aware of Dogo’s involvement but remained silent. Dogo is subsequently arrested for the murder.
