Kyoto Prefectural Police investigator Fumimaro Ayanokoji examines a separate incident where screenwriter Onda crashed his car off a cliff. Ayanokoji discovers prior contact between Onda and Yonekura, revealing that Yonekura was investigating Onda’s accident. Following this discovery, another explosion occurs, resulting in new casualties. As the connection between these violent events becomes clearer, the underlying relevance of the incidents gradually emerges, linking the deaths and crashes in a complex web of mystery and retribution.
