Conan, Ran, and Kogoro dine at a restaurant where employees of the mail-order site Kureno hold a company dissolution party. Attendees include President Jiro Kureno, Public Relations Junnosuke Toda, Product Management Eiji Koshimoto, Accounting Mayu Narita, and Web Designer Hiroo Kamijo. Jiro Kureno collapses after receiving a bouquet containing poisonous needles. Each participant possesses a motive for murder. An employee testifies that he witnessed Echimoto crouching near the bouquet and performing an action. The group reconvenes, but Echimoto is absent.
