Ep. 986: Issei Muto is found dead and Conan investigates the suspicious circumstances surrounding his charred body.

Issei Muto visits Mori Kogoro to clarify that he was a recycling company president, not a trader, hiding this from his wife Masako. The next day, the agency is notified that Issei has been found dead. Conan and Kogoro rush to the scene, where the body is burned, charred, and missing all teeth to delay identification. The estimated time of death is between 2:00 and 6:00. Conan questions the validity of the death report. At the company, they learn about an employee named Yoshihiko Nonaka who was absent without permission. Conan and Kogoro go to Nonaka's home, but he is not there. Conan notices that Nonaka left no belongings behind, raising further suspicions about the case.
