Touma's joy during his commute vanishes when Natsuki eats his reserved snack. His visit to Chiaki reveals his passive-aggressive relationship with her brothers and his own family struggles. The narrative then shifts to the Minami sisters managing a surplus of apples, while the brothers perform complex calculations on the fruit Touma brought. Haruka later advises Natsuki on cooking, while Kana and Chiaki analyze Haruka and Natsuki as a couple, a possibility Chiaki rejects. She then tells Kana to finish the curry Haruka is preparing. However, the cooking instructions for Haruka's curry and Natsuki's cookies are swapped, causing disastrous results. Finally, Touma confronts Natsuki amidst his brothers' failed attempts to intervene.
