Ep. 8: Hosaka’s barbecue plans fail as friends join the Minami family while a TV trend forces vegetable consumption.

Hosaka tries to host a barbecue for Haruka, Chiaki, and Kana, but his friends decline because they are attending a different barbecue hosted by the Minami family. Natsuki invites Hosaka, but he refuses. At the gathering, Haruka instructs Natsuki to grill vegetables, which delights Chiaki until she sees Haruka feeding Natsuki meat, causing her to retract her praise. Natsuki then serves grilled potatoes, restoring Chiaki’s admiration. Meanwhile, Chiaki and Kana watch a TV program that convinces viewers to love vegetables, leading Chiaki to demand vegetables from Kana. The trend spreads widely until Hosaka and Chiaki try free sausage samples at a supermarket, snapping them out of their vegetable obsession. Upon returning home, Chiaki finds Haruka watching the same show and is asked for vegetables.
