Ryogoku encounters Mirai, a fortune teller hiding from her friend Asuka, who boards the Miracle Train. Mirai initially declines to share her troubles, believing she should only listen to others. Ryogoku shows her around his town, prompting her to reveal she runs a shop called "Tomorrow's Future" with Asuka, her friend of nine years. While Asuka wants to expand their business, Mirai has lost interest in fortune telling. Ryogoku advises her to examine the past to find her future. This leads Mirai to recall why she and Asuka originally started their work together. Ultimately, the two friends decide to part ways professionally but reconcile their relationship.
