Ep. 3: Keigo uses Yukki and Yuno as bait for Minene while Yuno reveals their past promise.
Keigo dispatches Yukki and Yuno to an amusement park to lure Minene. When Yukki questions Yuno’s persistence, she recalls meeting him one year earlier. At that time, Yuno proposed marriage to cheer up a depressed Yukki following his parents' divorce, a proposal he dismissed as a joke. Although Yukki suspects she hides secrets, she refuses to elaborate. Later, Yuno invites Yukki to her home, where he discovers a room with three decomposed corpses. This discovery drastically alters the future for all Future Diary owners and breaks the causality continuum, exciting Deus. Terrified, Yukki returns home to find Yuno waiting outside. Meanwhile, Minene struggles to evade police despite her diary’s escape capabilities. Exhausted and cornered, she is rescued by a mysterious man who reveals himself as a Future Diary owner and tortures her for information.
