Underground Lepka seizes the control room to redirect solar energy and launch the massive Giganto war plane. Lana and Monsley manage to escape the facility and alert the others. Conan and his friends, who had salvaged a passenger ship, learn of the threat and return immediately. The Giganto successfully launches and fires upon the Triangle Tower. Monsley crash-lands aboard the aircraft, after which he and Lana depart for Industria on the Falco. Meanwhile, Conan, Jimsy, and Dyce remain inside the Giganto as the situation unfolds.
