Aya is tasked with investigating five mysteries within her high school. Because she is afraid of ghosts, Akira, Kengo, and Shirogane assist her in the investigation. The group discovers that all the reported mysteries are false. After they believe the matter is resolved, Maya falls ill and visits a doctor. This physician is deeply dissatisfied with his current position, as he finds treating mild sickness at a high school and university unfulfilling. Consequently, he becomes possessed by Kokuchi.
