Akira wakes beside Shirogane, unsure if the previous night was real. Shirogane confirms their connection and asks for trust, though Akira remains skeptical. At school, Shirogane acts as Akira's shadow to keep him visible to humans. A Kokuchi attacks, prompting Shirogane to release Akira, reverting him to a Shin. They leap from the fifth floor to fight; Akira distracts the enemy while Shirogane seals the portal. Shirogane saves Akira from a fatal blow but suffers a deep bite. They retreat to Bar Still, where the blind Master, possessing strong psychic abilities, heals them. The Master explains the Doppler item, which allows Akira to regain human form independently, ending Shirogane's constant advances.
