The group pursues Haruka, revealed to be Ushi-sama, into Mt. Fuji. Aya and Kengo separate from Akira and Shirogane to handle obstacles, including an attack on Shirogane by a possessed butler. Akira confronts Haruka, revealing the truth and summoning the King of Darkness, who captures Haruka. Shirogane attempts a rescue, but Akira transforms into his Rei form at the last moment to save Haruka, who pleads to stay with his nakama. The group reunites with Mayu and Master. Shirogane regains his Darkness powers from Akira and returns to the Shadow World, though Master questions his safety. Life returns to normal, and Akira resumes his previous routine.
