Acting on Haruka's request, Akira and his companions travel to an unusual mansion to assist Yuriko, whose parents have vanished and who is searching for a jade baby. Following a rest at the hot springs, Nanaya appears and traps the group with an army of Kokuchi. The narrative reveals that Yuriko's parents were consumed by shadows, but prior to their disappearance, they entrusted their wishes to a statue. This artifact ultimately saves Akira and his friends from the threat. Although the mansion is destroyed in the ensuing conflict, Yuriko achieves emotional closure regarding her parents after locating the jade baby within the protective statue.
