Maniwa battles Lil' Slugger and visits a dying hospital patient who urges him to dance with the rabbit. Misae reveals Maromi and Lil' Slugger are identical. Tsukiko discusses Maromi's conception, showing early sketches of the creature. Maniwa follows a miniature bunny girl to a doll-maker creating dolls of Lil' Slugger's victims, who speak to him. He plugs into an AR link to access Tsukiko's past, discovering she was attacked at age twelve by a roller-blading figure with a golden bat. Maniwa finds the bat in Tsukiko's father's shed and calls Tsukiko to reassure her, but Maromi cuts the line. Maniwa fights a giant Lil' Slugger with the bat, resulting in a draw. Tsukiko and Maromi vanish into the cartoon world, erasing all traces of Maromi from reality.
