Ep. 10: Goryo is abducted by his former teacher Tomas, who infests him with worms of unmaking.
Goryo sentences Tomas to the Ropes of Avici for unauthorized lingering, but Tomas, his former teacher, captures him and dispels the sentence. While the Goryo Group Syndicate headquarters burns due to Teeki’s remote spirit attacks, Muhyo, Roji, Nana, Yoichi, and Ebisu learn of Goryo’s abduction. Sakon leads them to Tomas’s hideout, where they are attacked by giant artificial constructs. Inside, they find Goryo chained and infested with worms of unmaking that are spectralizing him. Yoichi attempts to save Goryo with magic-binding spells and exorcism pills, but these efforts fail. As Goryo grows four additional limbs, Ebisu is impaled while trying to stop Sakon from killing him. Tomas reveals he orchestrated the reunion between Goryo and Ebisu. Yoichi realizes killing Tomas will save Goryo, while Kiriko communicates with Nana amidst the chaos.
