The group forms an alliance to combat spider spirits attacking examinees. Roji uses exorcism arts while Ebisu casts magic-binding spells, though another spirit lurks nearby. Simultaneously, Muhyo summons Yuuri to battle Hades Ruararie, who gains the upper hand using Thousand Tongues. After subduing the initial threats, Imai reports to Page, who plays chess with warden Emily. Survival training escalates as ghasts and Bellocent of Mist Mountain appear, causing a power outage. Imai reveals the retreat is a cover for warfare development against forbidden magical law, noting Bellocent was not on the release list. Ebisu explains Bellocent’s mind-burrowing abilities as she targets the group. Page learns Bellocent escaped via telekinesis, while Muhyo prepares to unleash Yuuri’s true power against a victorious Hades Ruararie.
