Shingo realizes the gravity control unit cannot be detached, forcing the crew to take the entire ship into the storm. Luna, piloting Survive, ejects the bridge and sacrifices herself to match the storm's gravity, turning a blue aura gold and rainbow before the ship explodes. The storm's course shifts, sparing the planet. Luna awakens in a nanomachine shield after her father congratulates her and sends her back. Survive dissipates, and the evacuation fleet returns, offering a ship for the children to escape. Adam and Tako stay behind. Years later, Kaoru, Bell, Sharla, Shingo, Menori, and Howard have specific careers, while Luna and Chako terraform Earth in Paris. Luna finally breathes the air, though work remains.
